If the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification using the form on this page.
Civilist only accepts returns and exchanges on items that are in 100% original condition - In the condition you received your item(s). Meaning, new, unworn, unwashed, including tags and in resellable condition. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Civilist only accepts exchanges within 14 business days of receiving your order. Exchanges outside of this time will not be accepted.
Please note, all returned items will be inspected by our staff before being approved for refund or exchange. Any returned items received that are deemed unsatisfactory, meaning, not in 100% new / original / unworn / unwashed / undamaged condition will not be accepted, and will be sent back to your at your own expense. So please take extra care with any items you with to return.
To organise a return/exchange, please use the form on this page (within 14 days of receiving your order) and you will be contacted with further information. Only at this point may you return your items(s) to Civilist. Any returns sent without prior contact with Civilist will be returned to sender.
All returns are at the expense of the customer. You will be required to cover both the postage cost to Civilist, and back to your address.
Civilist is not responsible for any item that is lost or damaged whilst in transit, so we recommend you use registered post with a tracking number. If you are located in Berlin, you can bring any return in store, but you must follow the same steps above.
No returns can be accepted on sale items and gift cards. All sales on Sale or Discounted items are final and cannot be returned. If we find any of the ordered products listed on another platform/shop for a higher price, we will not accept any returns on these items.
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products).

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Received a damaged item?
If any item(s) you receive is damaged or defective in any way, please contact us at email@example.com or fill out this form as soon you discover the fault (Please provide detailed photos of the fault where possible).
Civilist will try the best to replace the product and provide a return label. In the event a replacement product is unavailable, you will of course be compensated with a refund or credit.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 14 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. You have 14 days from the date of receipt to return your order for whatever reason. Items returned must be in an unworn, perfectly sellable condition with the original tags attached.
