The Arts-Rec x Nike Air Trainer 1 SB 'For Recreational Use' uses colors and patterns inspired by the San Diego Zoo. A pink hairy suede Swoosh decorates the upper, which has a brick red leather upper coupled with a burgundy nubuck saddle. Leopard-print leather overlays bolster the forefoot and heel areas. A Nike SB tag appears on the tongue, while the forefoot strap on each shoe is stamped with 'Arts' and 'Rec' signoffs. The inside of the tongue has a tag that sports playful graphics and a printed warning: 'Please do not tap on glass.'
